SCT Tuner & Device Updater Help Please!

I was loading custom tunes into the SCT Device Updater when my computer crashed. Now, the Device Updater won't even recognize that I am plugging my SCT Livewire tuner into the computer and will keep repeating "please connect device" even when plugged in. I tried restarting the comp, uninstalled and reinstalled entire Device Updater. The tuner still works on my car, but can't load new tunes. Please Help! Thank you.

I have windows 8 and mine does the same thing. My dad has xp and everything worked fine on his. If you do not have 8 you must turn your virus program off when uploading soft where from SCT.

I didn't even think about turning the anti-virus software off and it kept asking security questions. I'll have to try that tomorrow. Thanks guys!

I tried 4 times to remove program and reinstall. It just says the device is not connected. My dads xp worked fine the first time. There is a phone # to call and get a technician assistance. Help us all if you find a secret installment code.
My data logging has tech. issues too. My r.p.m.s are at 1500. I need to call. It takes a long time to get someone on the phone. But they will guide you through. They need to add more common problem answers to the sight.
