Just Ordered My First Engine Mod!

Just ordered my JLT Next Gen CAI + Bama tuner.

I got lucky, the JLT combo was on sale for I think $580, and the ME discount brought it down to 545 bucks! What a steal for a CAI+tune combo!

Except I 1-day shipped it which costed like $60... I was like f*** it dood I'm not waiting two weekends (2-3 days to make tune, memorial day, then 4 days to actually ship to my location).

Haha maybe, I woke up to an email saying it shipped this morning, "screaming little girl mode" was engaged.

@AMDanBailer: Thanks for dropping in as always, I appreciate it.

Well, got all my stuff today...

Got home, parked and left it on with AC on full blast for about 25 mins (trying to burn the remaining gas in my tank while I thought of a better way to empty my fuel tank). I backed out about 7 feet, parked, I start hear this weird noise almost like a ticking time bomb and sure enough like 5 seconds later my belt starts screaming and steam starts coming out from under my hood. "Oh sh*t..."

My father believes it's my water pump. It has been making weird noises the last two weeks and has not been replaced yet (I'm at about 83k miles).

Oh dear... Sorry to hear that. But I had a feeling something bad was gonna happen when you said you left the car running to burn off fuel

It ended up being my harmonic pulley that blew out, I went to Ford and got the new revised one with a new bolt and my dad put it on (after hours of trying to find the right tools to do so).

Leaving your car on idle with the AC running for 25 mins is bad these days? Haha...

Nice, it'll breathe a little better than with the factory setup. The exhaust is mostly for sound but since you got the tuner, you'll see a noticeable difference.
