supercharger or turbocharger

looking at these and trying to figure out horsepower gains, which gets up to speed faster and do either of these tear up an engine?

Many threads on this...but depends what type of supercharger you go with and what size turbo you get, smaller turbo=less lag. Good idea for either to go forged

Supercharger = instant power
Turbo = slight lag, but more top end.

In a nutshell

Faster than a speeding...............
2001 Bullitt being prepped for track duty
Corners > Straight line

I put 200,000 on my 2006 and it ran nitrous at the track up to 90,000. I pulled the nitrous and installed the Xcharger. When I sold it with 203,000 on it I was still making mid 12 second passes with it.

The new owner ran it on street tires a couple of weeks ago. He said it has 212,000 on it and ran low 13's on street tires and a driver who hasn't been on the track in years
