True Dual Exhaust advice

Hi.
I have a V6 and I'm looking to add a true dual exhaust. I am interested in the Ford Racing True Dual Exhaust for a V6. I'm trying to get an exhaust that sounds decent but no too loud. I've read reviews and most say that its not very loud. I don't want a quiet exhaust either. Any suggestions? I was thinking also of the Pypes Violators mufflers and the Pypes Muffler deletes which might be too loud. I'm not 18 anymore. lol. Thanks for any feedback

Pypes mid muffler catback and BBK headers and you're set. That sound is probably what you're looking for

I have the Ford Racing True Dual exhaust kit and the piping, fitment, and overall quality is the best I've seen so far.

The sound of the GTB mufflers that come with this kit is awesome, they produce a deep and throaty exhaust tone that I couldn't find with Pypes or other aftermarket mufflers. The only problem is (like you've read) they're not super loud and proud mufflers. I'd say they're right in the middle.

I'd recommend this kit to you. I recently installed a CAI + tune and the mufflers are actually significantly louder and the sound they produce now is I'd say 3x better.

Thanks for the reply. I pulled the trigger and went with the pypes true dual X Pipe kit and the Violators. Hope I didn't make the wrong choice.

I've been looking into this setup as well but haven't found a video to make sure yet. Would you mid making a video when you get it installed?

Yes. I will make a video. It's hard to go by the videos and reviews but I just couldn't wait any longer.

Yeah, videos aren't very consistent. There's a minuscule amount of accurate videos out there but in person it's still much more clear (I have first hand experience).

Here's my FRPP dual exhaust. Only have a JLT CAI with tune. Sounds awesome in person.

The prochamber mid pipe is definitely worth looking into. Tames a lot of rasp the x-pipe creates. It was very noticeable on mine when I switched to muffler deletes.

I have true dual magnaflows and I am really pleased with them. There is some drone at 70 mph, though I kinda like it. Some people have said that my V6 sounds like a V8, I don't think so, but hey, it sounds really nice anyway.

What's true dual magnaflows? Did you custom setup? Or did you also buy the dual exhaust?

I bought the mufflers and 4" tips and had a performance shop fabricate the dual exhaust with stainless and mandrel bends. I'm very happy with the result. It was four years ago and no problems, leaks etc.

You're right, it's a good system. An acquaintance of mine just put Borlas on his Shelby. Awesome sound!
