There is plug on the passenger side when you open the hood, just stick you hand in there and clear all the debris inside the cowl. You should be all set..

Ya I do that come spring every year but the water is in the drivers side door. I did notice the molding that touches the glass on the door is touching on the passengers side which has no water but has a gap on the drivers door which has the water idk if that would be it or not

I think you just found your problem.. I would say a good sealant would help it.. Good luck kid.

It could be the window molding. Ford even said it in their TSB about a water leak.http://www.justanswer.com/uploads/mu...14152_1121.pdf

I know this is a common problem for 05-09 on the passenger side seeing as how they put in a tiny *** rubber gasket on the passenger side cowl, this happened to me last year bad enough I had to remove my carpet and dry it outside and clean it.

I check the rubber gasket every 4-6 months but apparently it clogged in 2 months since my car took on water last night driving to work.

Im not sure if there is a gasket on the drivers side (I'll be checking later when I replace my filter...again) but I will let you know for sure once I get home from work. But I'll also be removing the gasket as it doesn't seem to have a ::significant:: purpose.

The gasket and picture with my hand is last night.

The carpet with standing water is from last year.

That happened to me about a month ago because that same reason my whole passenger side was filler with an inch or two of water
