do you think adding a throttle body will help or do you have to have a ported intake mani also for it to benefit

Could, not likely if its anything like my 4.6. Cai, tb/plen, midpipe, catback, 93oct tune....car is stock 260 @ flywheel, it's sitting at 252rwhp after those mods...so a total of approx 22hp?!

Neither, a tb is pointless on the 4.0 cause nobody makes an adapter plate to properly taper it to the intake manifold

Being that your Mustang is an automatic 4.0, I would guess you'll put down between 205-215rwhp. Then again, it really depends on the dyno you're running on. This guess is based off of a Dynojet 224xlc.

Let us know how the dyno pull goes!
