Headlight blackout covers

So I bought the blackout covers from AM and installed them this weekend. I do not have HIDs, just the stock halogens. I couldn't see more than like 10 feet in front if me at night. So I replaced the bulbs with new Silverstar zXe High Performance Halogens. I swear, they didn't make a bit of difference. The covers give my car such a mean look, I dont want to take them off. Anyone got any ideas?

Are they just the ones you snap on? If so just take them off at night

Nobody sees your tinted headlights at night. Take the stupid covers off at night

they do look good, theres really only two options

A - listen to the others & take them off at night

or

B - get HIDs

I've got daytime running lights, and as far as I know, according to AM, I can't install HIDs bc of that. I've researched trying to disable the DRL and that seems to be near impossible. I guess my only option is to take the dang things off if I'm driving in an area at night that isn't lit well.

get fog lights, not saying they'll solve the problem but they may help some

Replace those cheap "covers" with a pair of smoked headlights! Don't cheap out, you pay for it in the long run (as you can see, literally).

Btw, you're in the 05-09 Mustang section, bro.

I have a pair of covers on my headlights. But I have hids on mine so I can see fine at night. I know even though they snap in place. When u take them on and off they get scratched up on top and in the corners. But they do look nice

You can use HIDS even if you have DRL's. you just need to get a relay harness for them and they will work fine.
