Factory alarm?? Alarm sounding every 30mins

I have 05 v6 and my alarm out of no where is going off every 30 min after locking it up. I've timed it and that's the time 30 mins exactly. Everything else in the car is operating correctly. Just not sure what this mean, what it is, or what.. Any body got an idea

Probably the hood sensor is bad. Mine did the same thing. Easy and cheap to replace. It is the 'plunger' looking thing on the passenger side about mid way between the shock tower and fuse box.

That sensor gets the most exposure to weather so is usually the one that goes out.

I had an aftermarket alarm installed in my 99 and it had the same issue. Apparently the PCM pulses the doors, hood and trunk 30 minutes after arming to ensure they are still closed before it goes to sleep or some such nonsense. Most likely one of the sensors isn't closing correctly.
