Steering Column Problems? HELP

I was doing doughnuts in my car in an abandoned parking lot that is notorious for these kind of stunts and as soon as i finished, i noticed my steering wheel was much harder to turn than usual. A couple days later, whenever I am going at a slow speed or stopped in neutral, a light grinding noise/ screeching noise can be heard. Any one have any ideas on what is wrong? Should i take it into the shop?

My guess would be that the power steering pump is fried, or that you're losing power steering fluid.

No. I've driven mine pretty hard and I have 90K miles. Do you have a lot of miles on yours? Has the power steering fluid ever been changed? What about the serpentine belt? All of these things play into a part failure.
