Gas mileage

Does anyone know why I am getting only 14.5 mpg??

To be getting 14.5 mpg you must be pushing her pretty hard, if i push my 02 V6 hard she'll do right around 18 mpg. How many miles on her?

Damn that's low mpg. Don't forget to check tire pressure as well.

I will admit, I just got my car last week! My first tank I didn't take it easy, but this second tank I've been tryin to get the best mpg out of it that I can! It only has 88000 miles.

Tire pressure is good!
If you over inflate the tires by 10% you should get better gas mileage. And if the car has 88k and its never had the fuel filter and/or spark plugs replaced you should do it pretty soon, that will also save you a couple more mpg

Yeah, 25 mpg in my GT and I have 182K miles.

Just give it a nice tune up and lay off the right foot. You'll be good.
