2007 Pony Package - please help..

Maybe someone here can help me...?

So I have a 2007 pony package. I was told the gt grille would fit on my car. I found out that was not the case when I purchased one and the tabs were in different locations.

So, I realized they made gt style grilles for the v6. Since I absolutely hate the small fog lights of the pony package, I jumped and bought a gt style.

Tonight, we try to put it on and realized we'd have to relocate the horn. Okay, no big deal. Having not realized this would be the case, we decided we'd put the grille on anyway and re-wire the horn once we got longer wires.

Unfortunately, when we tried to put the grille on, it also did not fit. It sat too tall and we'd have to cut the radiator supports.

Where do I go from here...? Can someone help me? I want the big smoked fogs but right now, the only option I see is getting a gt bumper.

Please help. Any input is appreciated.

Even if he gets a ft bumper the grill won't fit because there is an extra piece of metal in the radiator support that will get on the way

I am guessing that you can't return it and purchase one that works?

I'm waiting for a friend of mine to check it out for be before I send it back. If it doesn't work out, I'm going for a Bullitt grille and fog lights on the lower grille.

It's not the horn I'm worried about its cutting that support ... I don't want to structurally damage the car.

I cut mine and just relocated horn behind radiator on passenger side. I have no problems thus far. Doubt its anything more than a place to mount the horn

I decided I'm keeping the grille and having my friend, who has done it before on his gt, cut it for me.

Do you think I would be able to just bend it back a little bit? Also could you post a pic or 2 of it after being cut?
