A/C Vibration

I've started noticing that when I'm idling at a redlight or wherever that when I stop and if I decide to turn the air on then there is a noticeable vibration that can be heard AND felt through the car...any ideas what's going on?

Mine does it too. Ac uses the engine as power to make it work so it taxes the engine. Why its so bad in v6 idk but even the 3.7 has that problem

Is it still cooling good? Are you getting evaporator freeze-up? Could be low on refrigerant which can cause cavitation in the compressor resulting in a vibration at idle.

Its supposed to be done every 10k miles. when you turn your a/c on does it smell odd? The filter gets nasty and mouldy from the rain. Its under your window cowl so the rain water hits it
