Glass packs

So I just ordered a flowmaster muffler for my car, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience running a glass pack and the muffler?

I had a friend tell me it would make it sound deeper and less raspy?

I have single exhaust, and can't afford dual, so please do say "just get duals" because I would if I could, but for now I'm looking for a cheaper alternative.

It will quiet it also, almost back to stock! I have Roush axelbacks and put some magnaflow glass packs on but it made it so quiet that they came off the next day! People say it will make it deeper and take the rasp off but that's because it quiets it back to about stock! If you want your exhaust any louder than stock than don't waste your money on glass packs! They should only be purchased if you go cattless IMO.

Yes less raspy, but if using mufflers with them it will be much quieter not louder!

How much quieter? I'm currently using the flowmaster thunder muffler, and it's pretty loud, but I don't want it to be like stock again if I add a glass pack

I have Roush and its one of the loudest axel backs you can get, and the magna flow glass packs put it almost back to stock! They came off the very next day!!! Be for warned! They should only be used if you go with long tubes and offroad x. Imo. I am in the 3.7 though, but its the same principle. Just my 2¢…
