I live in the south and my window cowl has faded and warped to where iys noy even touching the window in some spots. Does anyone know the proper name or where to buy one of these? AM I couldn't find anything on and latemodelrestro didn't have anything either. Any ideas if its a different name or where to buy would be helpful. Thanks

Are you talking about quarter window louvers? Put up a pic, that's the only thing I can think of.

Ok I was totally off the area. Just looked at mine and its pulled away in the middle. I live in TX and know heat jacks around with stuff too, but I'd call that a cowl too. I never rally paid attention to that part before but having gone over many aftermarket parts I've never seen one in the aftermarket and may just be a factory or dealer only item.
I just popped my hood and under looks to be leading to the inside of the firewall which (and don't know for a fact) could allow rainwater inside the passenger compartment. I need to look further into changing mine to because mildewed carpet stinks.
Anyone else have an issue or experience?

And I gotta assume (yea I know what they say about that) that there is a way that ford engineers came up with to avoid issues resulting from this.

The mildew on the passanger side? If it is its that little hatch on the right side on the passanger area. There's a piece in there that comes loose. The onlu thing under the cowl is your cabin air filter
