Valve Tick

Well guys. I found out that my tick is a valve that's bad. I'm looking to replace the heads anybody got any ideals about a cheap way to rebuild the heads i have or replacement heads. I've found a set of heads in a local junk yard for $50.00 a head. But they are unable to let me know the miles on the heads. has soon as I found out it was a valve I parked it and its not been started or driven. Anybody know a good price on a valve jobs or any ideals on my best option. I've got way to much into the car to sell it. Any help would be great. I had plans to build my sixxer because if it ant a GT around here its not s**t. I like to build it to a nice street and track car nothing crazy but something to respect.

Your most "cost effective" option will be to pull the heads off and take them to a reputable automotive machine shop in your area and have them do a valve job.

Thanks I posted in the wrong place. I have a 2000 v6. Lol. I'm going to call around tomorrow and see what it would cost to have it done. I'm praying it don't break the bank.

I just had a pair of big block heads magnafluxed, vacuum tested, and a broken stud removed. They checked out good after 380k miles. Lol.
It was $130.

That wasn't a valve job. Just an inspection.
If there is just one bad valve, they can just replace that one.
Those heads that I just refered to, the valves are original. They have a total of 550k miles on them.
