07 gt mufflers fit a v6 mustang

A friend is selling his gt 07 mufflers for $50. I have a 07v6 mustang can I replace one of the mufflers for my v6 muffler? Will it fit? Or even possible. I don't want to put both mufflers just one of them? Will it make a difference? Thanks!

i dont know if it will fit, but i dont think will make a difference since this is a stock gt muffler, why dont u get an aftermarket muffler i have one laying around its flow master american thunder and it sounds nice and has that nice rumble to them and for sure will fit ur mustang.

I have GT mufflers on my 07 V6. You'll need a X-pipe. I got mine from American Muscle. You'll also need hungers. Everything is pretty easy. Go for it!! They sound great!

If you decide to just stay with single exhaust, the GT muffler will fit but if I remember correctly, it will only use 2 of the 3 hangers since it is larger than the stock 6 muffler. It also sounds a little better.

I got a Gt take off OEM exhaust system. So it came with a "h" pipe and the difference was AMAZING. Sound was louder and deeper and I noticed a increase in performance. I definitely suggest you going all the way and upgrading the whole system and not just the muffler. (the X pipe will make an even greater difference than the resistant h pipe)
