I'll do that, so since it still drives I took it around the block once and it shifts really hard going from 1st to 2nd gear, it jerks the car hard and I can hear something's going on while shifting

Well he's had his fair share of bad cars in the past lol but he doesn't actually work on them or anything. My knowledge Is like yours and as far as checking fluids to so ill have to take it to a transmission shop. Tomorrow morning instead of installing my exhaust ill have to put that aside for now :,(

it really depends on the shop to me. If my transmission messed up id park my mustang and buy a cheap car to get around in while finding all the parts for a v8 swap that's just me haha. If the shop is really reputable then it would be no problem for me to let them especially if they warranty their work for a reasonable amount of time.

I'm not looking for a v8 swap right now lol I got a v6 cuz I drive this car a lot but I wanted a mustang so I got the v6 haha and one of the shops here guarantees it for like a year and charges about 1500$

Sad to say but they're probably right about the tranny. One of the main reasons I wanted a stick

She's sitting out in my front yard, taking her to the transmission shop later today hopefully get her up and running by the end of this week. It sucks how instead of taking her to a shop to get my exhaust installed this morning I'd have to take her to a transmission shop instead

Couldn't agree more man. Definetly hope she's up and running quickly and it doesn't break the bank to much
