Car Jerks Back n Forth

Today I was driving just as normal.

Put my foot down all the way and the car started going as usual then slowed down to 3K, went upto 5K then back down. It literally was like a roller coaster for a few seconds throwing me back and forth.

Any idea what might have caused this?

I tried doing it a couple more time in the same drive and it kept doing it. This morning it was fine though.

Anything happening with your dash while that happens? Auto or standard?

No. Nothing shows on dash, and it's an auto.

No I haven't. The car has a tune, but Bama said if it didn't do it before it wouldn't be them as their tunes don't change on the go.

You're saying I should get the injectors checked?

Getting the fuel injectors checked out in a couple days. Pretty sure they're the culprit.

Update. Car is running at 15lbs to 20lbs of fuel pressure whereas it should be around 60lbs.

We're changing fuel filter first and hoping that might do it before changing the pump itself.
