Adding heated seats

I want to add heater seats to my leather seats in my car now. I have a kit and tried searching but didn't find much on wiring. So I guess my question would be what is the best power source to tap into that won't have power unless the key is on ? I thought about running it into the power for the radio. Also should I worry about exploding my airbag with the sensor in the seat. Thanks for the input.
