Need Opinion?

Hey guys I was wondering if I should trade my 07 V6 for a 1999 Cobra?

I personally wouldn't, I really dislike that body style (the SN50 I believe it's called). I would stick with the 07 for the style the newer tech and the potential the 4.0 has. Though people like to dog on the engine it had a lot of potential that can be opened up. That's my two cents though.

No way man. The S197 body type is so much better I couldn't fathom having a 90's pony

If you want performance, then go with the Cobra!.. Stock for stock and mod for mod there is no comparison!..

Cobra will get you power no doubt and I personally like those body styles especially the rear ends but don't make sure you arent giving up a low mileage car for a high mileage car. Also check and make sure everything works properly and that the car has documents for when it was worked on. You don't want to give up a newer car for one that is older and will require a ton of cash just to get it running in the conidition your current car is in. I've also thought about trading mine it too but every time i change my mind back to keeping mine. It may not be the fastest but its a cool car none the less.

If you want newer tech and more reliability stick with your 4.0L. If you want straight up performance and a slightly dated interior (which still isn't too bad, feels more like a "sports car" on the inside) then go with the Cobra. Mod for mod the Cobra will pick up WAYYYY more power than the 4.0L. And you get that sexy bumper that only came on the 99/01 Cobra.

I've always loved the SN95 body style. Some people hate it, others love it, some don't care. Everyone as their own opinion. If you're looking for more power and performance all around, I'd definitely look into the Cobra. Although, I don't know what I would pick if this was going to be a daily driver.

Just my .02 cents!

Shane
