Hey,

I am sorry to hear this, check engine lights can be certainly one of the most frustrating things!

BBK advertises that none of their intakes should throw a check engine light. If I had to take a guess one of the couplers might not be making a perfect seal against the tubing and causing a leak. I would double check all the clamps and couplers to first eliminate the obvious. Once you do that, disconnect and reconnect the battery, and take it for a drive.

This will most likely cure the problem, if you are still getting a check engine light, see if you can pull a code, to better narrow down the cause. Every once in a while I will hear about these throwing a check engine light for bringing in too much air past the mass air. In this case you might have to return or get a tuner to use with it.

I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions or concerns please let me know.

-Dan
