Hey,

When it comes to getting a cat back system, for the best sound and most power, you want to get a true dual set up.

Flowmaster has their Force II system that sounds really good and certainly delivers a couple of extra horses. This would be my choice for a V6. It has a deep rumble that Flowmaster is known for and includes the mid pipe to make it a true dual set up.

Another great choice would be anyone one of Pypes true dual configurations. Any of those also include an x pipe, and they give you the option of a deep toned chambered muffler, or a race inspired straight through muffler.

I hope these suggestions help in you decision making process, and if you have any questions, feel free to get back in touch. Good luck!

-Dan

I went with the pypes mid muffler and it sounds awesome. The only problem I had was that it didn't fit very well so I ha to tinker with it. Overall though it is a great sounding system

I have MAC and it is amazing and really loud. I have it paired with a custom H-pipe

I just installed the Pypes mid muffler with no other mods and it sounds great. Much better than I expected! Like LivelyMustang posted, it didn't fit perfectly but definitely worth it...

If you get the dual conversion kit it comes with an x-pipe. Uses factory cats. Can get it and hear it at americanmuscle.com. Some HP bump is claimed up to 15hp but not sure on mine. Feels stronger but without a dyno who knows for sure.

I would advise against the x-pipe if you don't want a raspy sound, however if you are fine with that then go for it.
