Door Sill

Hello everyone!
I'm not a fan of the chrome door sill trim inserts so I was planning on taking the mustang door sill off and coloring it in with my touch up paint pen or a black paint marker. Can someone explain how to remove the door sill? I was told its double back tape? I hope not.

Thanks in advance everyone.

Plasti dip them matt black that would look tight. If you don't like it you can alway rip it off. Three coats of it. Cost 6 bucks. Plasti dip!

Very clean. I've been thinking of replacing mine with the lighted ones but that looks very sharp. 👍👍👍

Thank you .. It isnt perfect- theres some imperfections but not easy to see just by getting in and out of the car. I just wanted to see how itd look turned out fairly decent. I also just painted my horse in the grille to match the car. Waiting for it to cure.

You know there's light up door sills? And there's light up front grille ponys that change colors? Like moving flames and stuff. They change to the time of day too.
