Turbocharged or supercharged??

What should I put in this to turn it into a Lamborghini eater? I'm talking 500 bhp plus... Click image for larger version

The only way to pass 500 bhp is forged internals with a turbo.

I think whipple has a supercharger capable of 525 HP but of course you'd have to have forged internals. Stock 3v 4.6 block tops out at 450 HP

You'll need much much more than 500bhp to eat a Lamborghini considering that is only about 425 horsepower to the wheels and Lamborghinis weigh considerably less than you.

I would love to beat lambos

and a big one at that.

^ My guess is you'd need a whole new car, maybe a Shelby GT1000?

You don't need a 1000hp to beat a stock lambo. Don't get caught up in the # game guys. A stock aventador runs high high 10's. So a NA coyote can rear it a new ***. Your 3v with say 550 at the tires and suspension and a good driver can take it down easily

All you need is to be able to trap 125+ in the quarter mile.

A 13-14 GT500 will go door to door with most Lambos.

My Z28 weighs about 3500-3600 lbs with me in it. It puts down 588rwhp on a 150 shot. I have pulled car lengths on many an exotic including the Ford GT, Vipers, Ferrari 360s and 430s, Lambo Gallardos, Diablos, Murcielagos, Audi R8 (V8 and V10), various Porsches, and several other cars.

A full bolt on/spray Coyote should be able to do the same.

I personally wouldn't waste money on making a Mustang fast that didn't come with either a supercharger stock or a Coyote 5.0.

An engine swap or a different car would be about the only way to do it without spending an absurd amount of money.

At the track and the streets of mexico are a complete different animal.
At the Track NA coyote with full suspension/ Bolton's and e85 will stomp one. From a roll you will need a bottle or boost.

My car originally was built to run in the mexico racing league and was stupid nasty out there.

I miss the Mexico Racing League.. I really need to get the tranny rebuilt in the Z28 and get out there again.

There is a possibility you can take a Lamborghini in a straight line, this regarding an earlier LP-550-2, but I doubt that you could take a LP-560-4 with almost any mustang. That being said I'm not saying it's impossible, I just am not sure how likely that is. The Aventador is going to beat 99.9% of all mustangs considering it can take a Veyron off the line. This is beside the fact that any mustang that can take a Lamborgini is not going to do anything once you hit a turn. Obviously OP isn't really trying to beat lamborghinis, but I think it is worth mentioning. My opinion is based off of both knowledge and the fact that I have grown up around lamborghinis.

Thank you,

Aventador97

A stock aventador runs high 10's. So at the drag strip a NA 5.0 can take one. As they have already been low 9's all motor

I would assume your taking the standard quarter mile? Maybe your right all of my experience with lamborghinis has all been on the road and not the strip. I would still have to see it.

Veyron is geared for top end not acceleration.

So is it illegal to talk about street racing in another country? I didn't know Mustang Evolution had World Wide authority.

Good to know.

I think you are missing the point.

As for the original topic. You beat a Lambo by selling your V6 and getting a better starting platform.
