Over heating and antifreeze?

My car was over heating today and making an odd squeaking sound, so I parked it and I smelled what I believe to be anti freeze. Any thoughts?

I couldn't pinpoint it, but it sounded like the transmission area

Check your thermostat housing. If that's bad then any coolant will leak on the side of the engine.

Is the thermostat gauge fluctuating? If it is it could be the thermostat housing. Check under throttle body area for fluid leaks and it could be a water pump problem

I had a similar problem, if you coolant disappears without my seen leaks from hoses, check the radiator and thermostat housing. I have a squealing problem also after my car overheated. It still squeals, I'm going to check on my water pump.
