The sr performance LCA's look to be the same as the same. Idk if I need a rear upper control arm...

Well it looks like you can get the rear upper and lower control arms for $100 less than the BBK if you go with SR performance

Go with BMR. Much better quality.

Don't bother with SR or BBK.

I'd spend more money if I was modding a 5.0 but this is just my v6 lol

Lame excuse

If its just your v6 why are you trying to mod it to race it against cars not even in the same class as you

It's my dd, it needs new LCA's anyway (ford decided to put in non-greaseable bushings), and I am looking to get a new gt sometime in the somewhat near future. I don't usually take my car out racing.

If I were to get gears, I might as well swap the rear for an 8.8"

The stock 7.5" rear end in the v6 mustangs can only handle so much horsepower before it snaps. A larger rear end, such as the 8.8" from the GT, can withstand a substantial amount of horsepower

Yeah the 7.5" is good to about 300bhp on street tires and even less than that on radials

The problem with that is the cost. Finding a used one with lower miles is almost impossibruu

Just get a regular 8.8" rear from a junkyard GT and put in new gears and a rebuild kit

Found an ad on craigslist. $1000 for a 1987 gt with an 8.8 with the 3.73 gears. 127,000 miles

That won't fit. Only an 8.8" from an 05-14 GT will fit.

The older models are a 4 link suspension we have three link. Also $1000 is way to much to pay for a rearend

Well technically we're a 4 link too cause you have 3 control arms and a panhard bar instead of 4 control arms
