Should I trade my 2005 Mustang V6 for a 1999-2004 Mustang GT?

I'm trying to decide if I should trade my 2005 Mustang V6 manual for a New Edge GT. Any thoughts or experiences?

Also forgot to add that my car is stock. If I keep it I will upgrade it but if not it will go stock.

You can make more power out of that gt for less money and that sound is killer. The only disadvantage is the 05's can look allot better than the new edges

Look a lot better is very subjective... I think the new edges look the best, but of course I have one

The new edges are still the best looking body style, by far to me.

I have had a new edge before and the worst mistake I made was selling it. Only about 10% of the people I know care about performance, the others about looks. But I love both body styles. And the only person I have to please is me, right?

Definitely get the 99-04 GT! Those 4.0's are best left stock.

99-04 GT's are lighter cars and much more fun to mod.

They've definitely aged well, but I've gotta be on team 10-12 S197.

No brainer, Trade it for the New edge. A lot of people regard the new edge as their favorite body style. I've had multiple coworkers ask me if i had a brand new car. They were all shocked when i told them it was a 2002 model. For being between 10-15 years old, The new edge body style is timeless, imo. With just a few simple bolt ons and gears, you can really wake up the car. It won't be fast by any means, but it'll be quick enough to give you a thrill every now and again.

This is a little off topic, but what is the top speed of a new edge GT with and without a tuner?

The 4.0's look amazing when they are fully modified but they cost so much to do. But its waaayy more fun when you have power and a v8 exhaust to listen to

New Edge. More power, sounds better, and lighter.

Try to get a Bullit or mach 1. They are around the same price as a 2005 and up v6 so u should be able to get enough for your car then buy one of those

Mach 1's are a little more than 05+ v6 but you might could swing it! If so then without a doubt get the Mach 1 instead of the GT

I think 10-14 looks good, obviously, I think 13-14 looks the best.

I don't like the front and rear fascias of the 13-14's. The new head/tail lights look great but the front just looks like a shrunken Shelby front and I don't like how the entire rear end is painted. I prefer the 13 Shelby dual/14 Shelby quad exhaust valences. The front end I have now is my favorite of all time.

They made the GT front similar to the GT500 for 13-14. I agree, if I'd have known that my reverse sensors would still fit with the GT500 rear Valence on, I'd have Magnaflow Street black painted GT500 quad tips right now,.
