By no exhaust, do you mean the axleback, or the whole exhaust system?

There aren't any benefits to driving without an exhaust...

You can drive without a muffler but it will sound like garbage and will probably score you some nice tickets from your local popo. But once you go as far as driving without an exhaust pipes or catalytic converter, that can become risky. Yes you can still drive, but fumes from your exhaust manifold can build up in your car without proper ventilation.
