Ported Intake

Has anybody ported the stock intake manifold?

Considering our intake manifold is plastic I don't think it would be a great idea. I also don't think that it's worth the risk of cracking or getting plastic shavings in the intake. However I saw a video and write up of where it was done... Been looking but I can't find it. I have seen people porting and polishing throttle bodies for the 4.0 as well

Plastic doesn't mean anything. Plenty of 3.7 guys are porting their intakes. And you'd have to properly clean the intake after the port job to prevent any shavings being left over

The 4.0 is a pretty strong engine too by what I've heard. Are you naturally aspirated right now?

Lol it's a fun reliable car. Id love to have a 2014 or 2015 3.7 or 5.0 though, I've heard some evil sounding 3.7s
