Wouldn't you rather save and when your 18 be in a 5.0 vs a 07 v6?

I drove my friends 06 v6 once after I got the 5.0. They can't get out of their own way.

He drove our golf coach's stock 5.0, 1 thing to say, that's insane.

If I had the pay I do now 2 years ago in High School I'd probably be in a 5.0 or Terminator instead of the Bullitt.

Honestly the only reason I didn't get the gt was because the insurence and for the v8 it was like 350$ a month it's 230$ for the v6 right now but imma save up and in a couple years get the gt or Shelby!

Jesus that's high. I pay 760 every 6 months. And that's for a '14 5.0 and a '10 F150.

Insurance is high for us, 16 17 18 year olds, just started driving, driving a V8... Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen to the insurance companies. I'm 17 and my insurance in 250 a month and my car is insured for stock

Sadly it usually is a disaster. But prices would go down if terms didn't have smarmy wrecks but it is part of the learning process. I've had my fair share.

Sure it's a bunch of weight but I mean I'm in a full bolt on v6 and I'm a senior in high school. Don't get me wrong my cars not slow but I'm not going to the track or anything. Might as well have a little fun.

True... I thought the same thing though when I was a senior in high school. The next year in college I got a better job and the modifications started flowing in lol.

Insurance can be insane for young drivers. When I bought my first car at 16 back in 05 I paid about 1200 every 6 months just for liability. Now at 25 I pay about $800 combined for full coverage on a brand new V6, and liability on both my Harley and beater pickup. So it will get better!

I turned 17 2 months ago, been pulled over twice. First time was for racing my buddy's duramax, officer had been recieving calls about it so he had no proof and ended up giving me a ticket for blacked out taillights (which was eventually dismissed), other time was when I left a party that just got busted and got pulled over for not using my turn signal down the street from the house lol, I was with my girlfriend and the cop said he pulled me over for that and "suspicion of drunk driving" which I guess kinda made sense with the circumstances haha some cops suck

Some cops are doing their jobs... Lol, both of those seem like legitimate reasons to be pulled over. Not like you're white and he isn't, or he owns a Camaro and pulled you over for being in a Mustang. That'd be BS.

I know people who all they like to do is "swang that shyt". Literally thats how they say it. All they ever do is donuts on public streets, like store parking lots, residential streets ect.... Not even secluded areas. Those guys are the reason insurance is so high for us. When i got my Mustang a few days after i turned 18 it cost $120/month for liability alone, thats on a 2001 Bullitt.

Good advice that will likely be ignored. Man if I could go back in time and make better investments than stupid car stereos and the like..
