What should I add?

Hey Guys,

So since my front end project I feel like I still could use one more appearance add-on to tie the whole front look together. At some point I would like to get the 2010 raxiom headlights w/ a set of HIDs but in the meantime I was looking into maybe a black super snake stripe or some sort of scoop? But is it frowned upon to get a pointless scoop w/o a heat extractor? Maybe a shaker system? I would really like to know everyone's thoughts as I have not a clue what would get the best result.

Thanks!
Nick

Hey Nick,

I'm a little on the biased side but I'd say shoot for the Super Snake Kit! It's really on the subtle side and I would guarantee you would turn heads especially with your current setup. White on Black looks right! I personally don't like the hood scoop + the super snake striping as I think it breaks up the lines of the hood and makes it look a little too busy.

Let me know if you have any questions and I'm here to help!

I really like the hood cents for the new mustangs, look good and are functional. They're pretty simple but I think they'd really compliment the rest of your front end. Check them out on AM

Try to find a non v6 front bumper used in your color. Unfortunately since 05 ford has been making v6 and gt bumpers look different and the gt looks far better than a v6. I say get a gt bumper and get some halo fogs behind the grill.

Yeah ... I just spent $400 (retro billet grilles & CDC CS) redoing my front end and I like the look of my setup more than spending $600-$800 on a fascia that tries to mimic a GT. But I appreciate the advice

I agree that both a hood scoop with snake stripes is a little too busy. I am really wanting to go with the stripes however I'm not extremely confident I could install the stripes with the same precision as a ford dealership would, but dealerships have been quoting me pretty high lately, thank you for your insight Alex

I've looked at them a bunch, have you had experience with the vents before? I've been curious if water is a problem when the vents are installed

Not really sure if water is an issue with them, I think it's just depends on where you place them on your hood. I've kinda been wondering about water too and I think there's probably a way to install them to keep water from getting on an intake or something

If your looking into stripes. Maybe in these colors: Red, grabber blue, green
Hood pins

Concerning the water on the vents. Water may get in but it shouldn't be an issue. Remember the engine will get hot, so that will evaporate the water. Now when its not running, there still shouldn't be an issue; all depends where you place them. (This coming from some of what I have read here.) I'm wanting to get the cervini ram air hood, so I had to look into the water "issue"

Those grabber blue stripes :O tbh initially I never considered anything other than matte or black if I ever were to get stripes, but the grabber blue on top the matte grey looks sick

They do look nice; personally I like grabber blue the most over the others. Not something one would see on the road frequently.

No fake hood scoop, if you want the scoop look then definitely get a shaker system. And I think a matte black super snack stripe would look great as the other option

I kind of like the "double" grey or matte black GT500 stripes on black.

Looking into both the shaker system and a matte super snake stripe. Has anyone put stripes on before? Or would you pay the dealership $100 an hour to do it for you?

They said $800 to repaint the front bumper and then $200 to repaint the roush valence. I ended up getting them all done for $350 somewhere else
