Exhaust

Hey guys I have a 2007 v6 and it is all stock. I'm a highschool student on a budget and I want to get dual exhaust but with a little rumble. I say I'm on a budget but I don't want to be constantly spending money on it for repairs. Suggestions?

Welcome to MustangEvolution!

That's a good question and a little bit of a tough one! The Dual Exhaust Conversion Kits will run a little more than an Axle-Back and if you're looking to not burn a hole in your pocket as well as pick up a little rumble check out this Pypes True Dual Kit:

Let me know if you have any questions about it, I'm always around to help!

Alex

I say goto a local exhaust shop and get them to make you a true dual system. If you want it louder then go get some high flow cats if u dont know anybody that will pass you with no cats. Far as the mufflers flowmaster is a safe bet and dont get a straight thru muffler you will regret it

I got some on my 99 right now and it made the car sound so awful. Idle is screwed up and it sounds like a civc on the inside.

I bought over axle pipes on jegs.com. Bout $50 each. Gave em to an exhaust shop and had him weld a crossover wipe. Without the mufflers it cost about $375

I have the same thing just an 06. If you want to save money go on ebay or american muscle find a exhaust kit that you like. Buy it. That cant be more then 600 (tops!!). Then go to a body shop ask them to cut a hole in you back bumper for you exhaust (no sure how much they will charge you) then just put it in your self. But if you don't know how to or your inexperienced tell the people who would cut the hole to install it. Because all the places i went for them to install an exhaust system were asking for from $890-$1400. When you can simply buy them yourself for alot cheaper and then just ask them to install it. P.s. Installing price may vary depending of welding or bolt on.

My first exhaust set up was dual magnaflows, cost me $450 including install. Pay in cash, you'll be able to negotiate a better deal
