HELP!! 06 v6 mustang not accelerating on taking off

My father owns a 2006 v6 mustang and its acting weird

when u are at the red light , you step on the gas and the car wont go anywhere

after 4 seconds, the car takes off spinning tires or just takes off fast ,

and it does that every time u stop and take off,its like the fuel is traveling very slow when u press the gas, and it takes like 4 seconds to get gas and then it takes off, this is dangerous becuz i can be at the shopping center trying to get out and i step on the gas to get in front of the cars coming and the car wont go , after 4 seconds the car takes off really fast and it can be too late in 4 seconds the traffic cars are going to be in front of me and im going to hit them .

wat can i do to fix this issue to prevent an accident from happening , i change the spark plugs and the wires and didnt help

any advice would be appreciate it

thanks

So the engine revs up but the car doesn't move? That is a transmission problem, not a spark plug and wire issue.

the car wont even rev up or nothing it just sits there for seconds (when stepping on the gas pedal like 1/2" deep -taking off slowly mode)

it sits there and then after seconds the car takes off, and u can see reving up to like 3,000 rpm then changes to 2nd gear and the rev comes down to normal

My friend has a similar problem with his 06, except his will literally die sometimes. He hasn't been able to find out what it is.

I'm not sure, I guess you could try cleaner

Does he have a tune on it? One time my car did the same thing because it was a bad tune but I got it fixed.

well i took it to autozone and it came a code P0506 , which its Idle Air Control System RPM Lower Than Expected

i purchase a can of carburated cleaner and spray it to the troddle body while the car was on , and father stepping on the gas so it wont die while spraying , and when i was spraying , no black juice came out or i didnthrow any black smoke, it was clean already

i did notice while reving the engine on park to 4,000 RPM the engine bogs, at 3,000 its reving perfect smooth , but between 3,500 and 4,000 it bogs down to 3,500, and if i hold the gas pedal and keep it at 4,000 the rpm starts to rev up and down up and down up and down, between 3,500 & 4,000 , in other words it wont stay at a solid 4,000 rpm

the code says might be the PCV VALVE????????

should i take of the throddle and clean it, even though it seem clean from the outside ??????????

Clean inside the TB if the inside is dirty, replace PCV. Do it right or you will keep having problems.
