HID bulbs

If I'm on eBay looking for some HID bulbs to put into my headlights, are there certain HID's that fit certain models? or do they all fit into all? I don't want to order some and find out they don't fit. thanks!

Please read through this thread before deciding to put HIDs in your car. You should never just put in HIDs into your stock housings. You want a retrofitted housing.

After reading through the link it sounds like HID bulbs in aftermarket projector lights work well. Is this the case for all projector lights or are some still not HID compatible?

The reason for asking is that I am planning on getting a pair of Raxiom smoked projector lights for my 02 and was not aware that HID bulbs were compatible with them.

Technically the Raxioms are Halogen projectors. HID bulbs fit and do work better than a HID in halogen reflector set-up, but the HID bulb in an HID projector set-up will always be the best option when wanting to change over to HIDs. If you're looking at getting the Raxiom projectors, I would suggest getting high quality halogen bulbs as you will get the same level of light output as the HID bulbs and you will also retain the Raxiom warranty.

Thanks. I'll keep the HIDs out of the new lights.

By high quality halogens are you referring to something like the Silverstar Ultra bulbs or is there something better?
