True dual mid pipe

I currently have the Pypes true dual mid pipe exhaust on my 05 v6. If I want it to be louder, can I use aftermarket parts for a gt?

I would assume you're running cats? If so just take them off if you want volume, changing your mid pipe will mostly influence tone and pitch. If there is any difference in HP it's pprobably very minute like maybe 3-4 HP, depending on what size piping you use. Hope this helps.

Isn't that going to kill my mpg? Or do I just have to put them back on before emissions?

okay I wouldn't remove cats... But h pipes give a nice deep tone. I get asked if my stang is a GT all the time. Up until 3k rpms it sounds like a v8. And the Flowmaster Outlaws i have are stupid loud... And I must agree, Kyle montgomery's stang sounds great^^

Gotcha so their mid-muffler system. Mid-pipe is just what connects cats to intermediate pipes. Really the only thing you can do to make it louder at that point is aftermarket headers and hi flow cats.

I have the pypes true dual exhaust with the x pipe and m80 mid mufflers and I need it louder so I'm going to get an o/r H pipe installed. Does anyone know how it will sound?
