Glass pack muffler

went to a muffler shop thinking about putting a flowmaster on my 2005 v6. after talking for a few minutes, the mechanic recommended a glass pack for it. I'm new to mustangs, so I'm just wondering the quality on it. pros/cons? opinion on them, etc. Please Help!

Same thing was recommended to me , I looked into them for a while but I never really liked the sound , I ended up going duals with a xpipe and flowmasters couldn't be happier

A little to high pitched for my taste , I wanted to get to as close as a muscle car sound as I could, tons of exhaust set ups on this forum that are really nice sounding , I would keep looking at different options till you find one you know you'll like

10 will be loud but 40 will give a very nice note. I had 40s on my 65 impala. But maybe another muffle you might check out are super 44 flow masters. They sound great; put some on a new edge six banger and it sounded a lot better than I thought. If I ever got a six those mufflers would be my choice.

I've put those mufflers on a lot of cars of many varieties but the only one it sounded awesome on was a 62 Porsche 356.

Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.

That was not meant as an insult. I have absolutely no interest in Asian cars except two (Toyota 2000gt and Nissan r390) but I think his car, and yours sound good.

Glass pack muffler

None taken I didn't like that set up, that's actually a TB spacer SR throttle body spacer.

Turbos I'll have a better video of soon she's in the shop getting worked on.

I personally though the s10 sounder ricery.

Now I have cut outs and pype bombs axle backs. Much better.

The 4.0l mustang engine is one of the few sixers out there that can run a straight through muffler and not sound completly terrible. Basically if you have longtubes, offroad midpipe, and some straight through mufflers you basically have the best setup
