Headlights question?

Hey guys, I have an 06' premium mustang V6 and im looking for some headlights. Im all about cosmetics to my car not exactly performance so keep that in mind.

Right now I have in NAPA Long Lite bulbs and they're great. Bright, white light. But im looking for something different.

I dont want to get involved in HID's and Xenon lights because I just want something screwing into my stock housing. Are theyre bulbs thsg are legal but come out blue/purple? I have yet to find any.

Thanks guys!

I'm just around the same point as you, where I'm just cosmetically appealing my mustang before I dump money into speed mods. Can you upload a pic of the bulbs you're taking about. I really need new bulbs but I want a cool white, no more baby light tan yuck color, the most cliche color ever

HID's are the only way you are going to get blue or purple lights without dimming them. halogen bulbs with coats of blue or purple painted on them only get darker, and look bad.

philips makes good bulbs. sylvania are a rip off. but the philips will only get 'whiter'. the hint of blueish coating on the bulbs is actually meant to filter out the yellow light, making a whiter light.

anyone with actual blue or purple lights and dont look like crap are running HID zenons. but i dont reccomend them unless you buy headlight fixtures that are meant for them. I suggest the more premium philips bulbs in the stock housing.

If all you care about is visual then that's fine, but DO NOT get headlight bulbs that are different colors, that is seriously a major danger to others on the road. It's one thing to have a mod that you like and other people don't, but when you do a mod that affects other people while driving then it crosses the line.

IF you want other colors do it right and get color changing halos or demon eyes, but not your regular light bulbs.

I get what you're saying, I for one get pissed when some *** has hids on behind me and it's literally blinding. All I want is an easy way and a cheap method to change the color from the yellow orangy color to that cool white, I don't need something bright, just that cool white color

Philips crystal vision or one of those will do it.

Unless you bought a junker, you shouldn't put junker parts into your car. You should ONLY use parts from an actual reputable company (eBay not being one of them). No sense in saving a couple bucks only to end up with bulbs that won't last you nearly as long as a set of Raxioms or Sylvanias...

Yes, I bought a tint kit from AM. Visibility hasn't been too bad.

I dont care for sylvania myself. Too expensive for too yellow. If you get em cheap, then sure. But dont overpay by buying the sylvania silverstars at an autoparts store. So not worth it. Philips seemed whiter to me, side by side.

I was wondering how your visibility was. I bought tinted headlights from eBay. And they were darker than the picture showed
