Can anyone tell me what I should do with this. It's the evap code. I have already check fuel cap. How long should I wait until the code goes away or will it go away?

Evap can be a few things. Fuel cap which you checked, it could be a hose that connects to the tank, or maybe a fuel pump, could be the evap canister.

Have you replaced the fuel cap? Make sure the hoses are good and free of cracks. Honestly it could be a fault. I'd clear the code of it pops up again I'd start inspecting.

Yeah I just replaced it about two months ago. Funny thing is three days ago the check engine light went off. I know that it still needs to be fixed because my mpg is still pretty low. I am at 14.9 per gallon in the city does that sound right? I do have a cold air intake and throttle body spacer on there and about to get new cat back system on it. I was going to get either a Diablo tuner or sct from AM. But I know it needs to be tuned. What do you think?
