Overdrive

Doesn't having overdrive on save gas because the rpms aren't as high or something?

So do you think it matters leaving it unplugged? It seems like it's still on

The button on the shifter is what turns overdrive off. So my guess is you didn't disable it, instead you now aren't able to turn it off. Which you really don't even need. The only time you ever really need to turn overdrive off is if you are towing something.

Will the light still flash like it should for transmission issues?

Oh I don't know. I'm really wanting to relocate it. How about would I do that?
