DIY Trunk Mat Advice?

Alright, so kinda curious as to how I should go about this... the trunk mat in the back of my 05 is all warped and sitting awkwardly.. putting my subs in the back is a little iffy. And I'm the type of person to keep all my things in good condition, so this trunk mat how it is, does not sit well with me.

unfortunately I can't find any scrap stangs or any new trunk mats..

If anyone has any ideas or has been in this situation, let me know what you did about it and how it went. Thanks!

I got a new mat off American muscle and got mdf thin sheet wood and cut out the shape of the trunk and used 3m adhesive spray glue to bond them.

I can't see the picture because most photo hosting sites are blocked at work for me, but if it's just the cardboard, I suggest taking the cardboard out of the car, take it to home depot, get a board cut to similar size, it probably doesn't have to be exact, and put the carpet over it. Trash the old cardboard bottom.

I did this in my civic and really loved it. You can even put a hinge on the back if you wanted you do so.
