Aux input

Hey guys i have a 2010 mustang and i bought a really nice aux cable but its very loose in the input jack sound will only come out of one side or be very quiet unless i push on it. Any suggestions or anyone else have this problem and fixed it?

I had the same issue....I just stuck something under it and it pushed it right and sound would work properly lol

I got my wheels locks bag and put it under the input jack so it pushed upward on the wire and it got it seat right inside the input jack.

I just use sync cause the aux cords to quiet for me

is it just that cable or is any cable loose?

Most likely the input jack itself...see if you can remove it and gently been the contacts in.

I have a 05 v6 premium it has a button that says AUX but no cable what's the easiest way I can get my iPhone connected to my car

I just replaced my hu with one that had an aux chord. You could get the fm transmitter,that plugs in

I had the same issue, the aux button does nothing at all. But I went on Amazon and bought a kit that creates a radio frequency using the antenna. The kit works on the shaker 500 and 1000 systems. This part is basically an adapter that plugs into the antenna and back of the radio. It's lacks an aux input but you can also buy one of those off of amazon for cheap.
