Exhaust

What are some good dual exhaust systems you guys know for a 2010 4.0? I want a deep loud sound. I saw a kit for the flowmaster force II. Are these any good? Thanks for the time!

I do like borla but their kit for the V6 is outrageously expensive

From personal experience ive learn not to cheap when buying parts for cars so my advice woukd be to save uo and buy what you really want and quallity parts or A) you'll have replac them bc they wear out quicker or B) you end up replacing them for something you like better via sound, looks or performance

Ive heard alot of good things about pypes and from watching clips i think thats what I want.

I hear what you're saying about price and quality and all but there is a difference in a good price and a outrageous price. Borla is great but $1200 for a dual exhaust kit that i can get for $800 is just hard to wrap my head around. I think I'll just save the $400.

Just buy some longtube headers and goto a custom muffler shop and have them make you an h pipe with straight pipes. By far the best sound you can get out of a sixer

Pipes mid muffler has a really cool retro sound. They have a perfect balance between rasp and rumble to make it sound like a 60s mustang. And after about 55mph there is no dine at all. It's almost silent.

I have the Force II kit coming my way. I'm looking forward to have it installed next week. I'm riding a non-modded (yet) 2010 V6. I'll let you know how it feels, and sounds.

Will do. Remind me, if I don't post anything by the 12th.

Of course, that will be the sound immediately after installation. I've understood it changes later.

The Force II was installed on Friday. The x-pipe was welded, while the rest of it was clamped (cost me $200 in Boston). I didn't get any new hangers, and just went with what was there in the kit. Unfortunately, both my cameras have a mic that sucks, so you'll have to wait for the video.

First impressions, though. I don't have any other mods on it (2010 V6 Coupe). I really like the deep rumble from the ignition all the way to 2k rpm. The rumble starts to fade between 2-3k, and after 3k it's actually a bit louder than I thought. Also, I would say the pitch is def higher after 3k, compared to stock. There's no drone, and I'm happy with the sound. Ideally, I would like it a bit quieter, and deeper at higher rpm. I'm a fan of the stock GT sound

Did you have to do any modifications to make it all line up? I've heard that with the pacesetters it won't work unless you keep the single exhaust and go with a Y-Pipe. I want to go catless with LTH but I don't want to have to make alot of modifications to make it work either.
