Antenna wire question

So I was installing an aftermarket radio in my stepdads 2009 mustang Gt with the shaker 500 and long story shirt the antenna wire got messed up now it doesn't work. Is there anyway I can change out the wire before he realizes its messed up? I can't find one when I search for one

Pictures of the damage would be helpful. In my experience the antenna cable is several pieces before it gets to the antenna itself. Probably plugs into a female socket where it enters/exits the car. You will usually find a part number. But at the end of the day it's just an antenna cable. You can get one anywhere. Follow it and see where it goes and go from there.

How did it get messed up? You cut the wire, burned the insulation, etc

The end is messed up , because I forced it into an aftermarket antenna adapter. So now the end doesn't make a connection

Cut it as if you was doing it to your speaker box
