Tranny rebuild time?

so I installed a race tune in my 05 v6 auto and bama tuned it so that it basically shifts at 6300 every time and since I have installed it I have been noticing this god awful whine from 2-3 gear. It's almost like a belt squeal but from the real. Thoughts?

Well, you might want to contact Bama and possibly datalog. It could be the transmission tuning is off. Since it started with the tune, I would start with bama first.

Also, since you have an 05, when was the last time your tranny was flushed and checked on? Just to make sure it is healthy enough to take the beating you are throwing at it with the aggressive shift points and stuff.

I would get it checked out. My opinion with trannys is that if something changes then you should get it checked out to be safe before it turns into a bigger problem. About to service my own at work this week
