07 auto, Loud humm at 35
I have what I think is a bad wheel bearing, on my front drivers side, I get a hum noise(kinda like a semi but not exactly ) starting at 20mhp and continues to get louder as I speed up its the loudest at 35mph and gets very quite once I get up to 40 and 45 you can still hear it but it's by far the loudest sitting at 35. There's also a vibration right under my feet that goes with the sound. The sound is there even when breaking it just slowly gets less noticeable and then goes away once I stop and comes back again at 20mph. I actually replaced my passanger side axle bearing thinking that was the problem but it wasn't.
The car is jacked up right now and there doesn't seem to be any play or noise when turning the tire or trying to move it up and down.
I'm kinda stuck here and dont really know what it is. My money is still the bearing. Can they be bad even without the play or noise in the tire?
