2006 ford racing CAI

Hey guys! I bought a ford racing CAI but didn't buy the tuner. And the check engine light is on and it seems to shift into 3rd really early.. I plan on buying the tuner next week will the car be fine without the tuner right now? Or should I put the stock intake back on.

The car is running lean. There is a reason it is tune required you know lol. I would pull it off until the tuner

Yeah there's no need to damage your engine...just wait til the tuner gets there and you upload it then put it back on
