A-pillar Tri-pod Gauge Wiring Help.

Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since I have posted here. I have been busy with my other car and bought a few mods for my car. I have an A-pillar "ti-pod", FR water temp gauge, FR volt gauge, and FR oil pressure gauge that I am trying to install. I have read TONS of different threads concerning the topic, but haven't found the answers to the questions I am looking for. I have never attempted anything like this before. I know taking it to the shop is the fool proof option, but I am a DIY guy and like to learn. I have removed the A-pillar, removed the lights switch (in preparation to connect the gauge lighting to the headlights), but am stuck now. I have no clue where to route my wires. I don't want to have them all over the place (I prefer to keep a factory look). I am asking where to route the wires (without drilling a new hole in the firewall) and how you guys have run them through? Connecting them to the gauges is no problem, but the rest befuddles me. Please provide any help or advice as it is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Aventador97

Anyone? Judging by the number of threads concerning the topic I am not the first with questions.

Can you feed the wires down to near your stomp pad(think it's called that). There's a little rubber grommet just above the stop pad that you can feed it to the engine bay from there

A-pillar Tri-pod Gauge Wiring Help.

Okay, I will look into that. I know that most people have talked about connecting the wires to the passenger side kick panel. Routing it to the fuse box would work too. I will look at the stomp pad.

It has been a long time since I read a DIY about this but I believe there is a rubber grommet on the drivers side around the steering shaft you can fish the wires through.
