The thread where the guy got a 1300 s197 he glued it but I don't think it worked.

Haha yeah that's true. But it is getting more difficult to put it in park..

Sadly in your case you have 2 options. 1. Go to a junk yard and take one from a wrecked stangšŸ˜­, or take to a actual ford dealership and the service tech will have to replace it. Unless you can magically find that part somewhere on the interent

I am having an issue with mine aswell but specifically with the red dot that indicates what gear your in is stuck on the R so it never tells you where your at. You just learn how to deal with it

Here is a fix that works pretty good though.

Had this happen to mine and a friends a while back. She just bought a new shifter and changed it out
