HELP!!!! 2006 mustang v6

I have a 2006 mustang that starts when it wants to. When i turn the key you'll hear the fuel pump turn on. That's how i know it's gonna start. If i don't hear it it's not turning on. Today while i was drivinging it it turned off on me, and had to get towed to my house then it turned on. What could it be? A relay?

Probably has to do with the fuel pump then, that's my best guess. If it shuts off while driving it could be because of the fuel filter needs to be replaced.

The problem started about a month ago. All of a sudden it wouldn't start. Replaced the starter. After that it was running really ruff. I would start it and it with die sometimes it would start right back up and sometimes would have to wait about 20 minutes or longer for it to start. Then i clean the hose that goes to the carberater and the carberater it self. Under neath really dirty. Ran perfect for about a week. Then the other night went to dinner and it wouldn't start for a half an hour. Today went to the store while i was turning at a intersection it just died completely it i pushed it to the gas station called AAA had it towed to my house. As soon as the tow truck left i go to see if it will start it started. When i know it's gonna start you'll hear the fuel pump turn on if i don't hear it it's not gonna start.

I assume your taking about the throttle, no carbs on a fuel injection. Probably need a engine tune up, plugs, wires, coil pack. Buy some fuel system cleaners, like seafoam. Could be problems with the fuel pump wiring.

Electrical issues can plague you intermittently. Especially the ground wire connections. No use in trouble shooting until electrical connections are checked/cleaned up.
