Coolant smell

Hey whats up guys? Question for y'all I recently replaced my thermostat housing yesterday. And a lot of coolant ended up coming up due to some pieces not working properly. Now my question to you guys is this should I still be smelling coolant when I stop or when I'm parked but can't find a leak no any lost in coolant?

Depends on how much coolant leaked. Likely it puddled up in some of the engine areas, and when the engine gets warm, it's burning/evaporating off. Give it another day or two to burn off.
Check the coolant overflow tank to make sure it's staying at its proper fill level, indicating that there is no more leakage.

you may want to clean the engine to eliminate any spilled on. Keep an eye on the level if it stays up it ain't leaking and the smell should go away in a few days. It's a good excuse for a road trip to burn it off!

When you have a coolant leak that gets everywhere you'll smell it for weeks afterwards sometimes, even after you fix the issue.

As you know coolant level fluctuates with temperature of the engine. So be sure you are comparing levels when at similar temperatures, when trying to determine if there are any leaks.
Of course after initial fill you can expect level to drop a bit.
